Jiangsu Linhai Power Machinery Group is a cross-industry and cross-regional group corporation, incorporating scientific research into industry. It consists of more than sixty member units at the present. Being one of the largest state-owned enterprises under the jurisdiction of the State’s central government, Jiangsu LINHAI Power Machinery Group (Its former name is Taizhou Forestry Machinery Works of China National Forestry Machinery Co., Ltd.) plays the role of a nucleus.
Founded in the year 1956, the corporation has a history of more than forty years in developing and manufacturing small engines and power machinery. It possesses strong capacity of product research and development and is equipped with domestic first-class manufacturing execution system, which is composed of over forty professional and flexible production lines, a measuring and testing system of national level and a researching and developing system constituted by a power and power machinery test center, a CAD developing center and so on.
Various kinds of two-stroke and four-stroke gasoline engines and the ancillary power machinery with different start-up modes and applications, horizontal, vertical, air-cooled, forced air-cooled, water-cooled, oil-cooled types, have successively been developed, the displacement of which are from 26ML to 700ML. The main products include special vehicles as ATVs and CUVs, general-purpose engines, small gasoline generating sets, small power machinery like pumps, chain saws, pneumatic extinguishers, brusher cutters, and motorcycles and motorcycle engines. As the quality is kept in the domestic advanced level, the leading products are entitled National Satisfying Product for Consumers by the Consumer Committee of China Association for Quality. The brand LINHAI is awarded such titles as China Famous Brand, Jiangsu Famous Trademark, Key Protected Product of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Famous-brand Product and Jiangsu Key Famous-brand Product. In recent years, the Corporation has passed the certification of ISO9001, 2008 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environment System and 3C. Some products have obtained European EEC and CE certificates and EPA and CARB certificates of the United States. We take an active part in large-scale domestic and foreign trade shows. And our products command a ready sale at home and abroad.
After the fourth readjustment of the product structure since 2000, Linhai has thoroughly remoulded itself in the spring tides of market and is now full of vitality. There has been a substantial increase in our major economic indexes for years. In 2010, the income of the Corporation reached 4.15 billion Yuan, along with 350 million Yuan of profit taxes and 185 million Yuan of profit. She has so succeeded in edgeing herself into the forefront of the domestic small powers and has been rated as one of the National Top 10 Enterprises in the industry of internal combustion engine and their accessories for many years.
